The Aguilas Cibaenas eliminated the Tigres del Licey from the regular baseball season by defeating them yesterday 12-6 in Santiago. The Leones came from behind with three runs in the eighth inning to defeat the Estrellas in their quest to qualify in Santo Domingo. The Gigantes had a good day, edging out the Toros 9-8 in the ninth inning in La Romana.
