The Aguilas lost 2-0 to the Licey at the Quisqueya Ball Park. This was Licey's first win after a seven-game loss streak. The Aguilas could now not make the crucial 4th place that is necessary to play in the round robbin. The Aguilas are half a game behind the Gigantes del Cibao. The Gigantes del Cibao yesterday defeated the Toros del Este, 11-2. The Estrellas in their hometown, San Pedro de Macoris, defeated the Leones del Escogido, 6-1.
