Dominicans take Christmas seriously and priority is given to family and friends.
In true Dominican tradition, DR1 is taking its annual Christmas holiday break. The daily news digest will not be updated on Thursday and Friday, 23 and 24 December. Headline-making news will instead be compiled for a wrap up on Monday, 27 December.
