The Dominican Republic this week is suffering from probably the coldest weather in years. A cold front moving from Haiti is bringing cold temperatures and windy conditions. The warmest will be 30C degrees but lows in the cities are reported down to 12C degrees.
The Weather Department (Onamet) publishes forecasts of temperatures of 18/28C for Santo Domingo, 15/27C for Santiago, 16/28C for Punta Cana, 18/30C for Barahona, 14/28C for La Romana, 18/27C for Puerto Plata, 18/27C for Samana, 12/25C for San Juan de la Maguana.
