Short dresses prevail for dressing up for New Year's Eve partying challenging Dominicans to balance looking youthful but elegant. El Caribe reports there is a wide variety of dresses for sale, in all colors, and styles. Caution needs to be exercised to avoid dresses that are a couple of sizes too tight or a couple of inches too short. The newspaper says messy hair buns are also in fashion for the holidays.
