Any Jets Fans in Sosua on January 16th intersted in watching game with Patriots Fan ?

I am a diehard Patriots fan, and I thought if any of you jets fans were going to be in Sosua it might be interesting to watch the Jets vs Patriots game next Sunday January 16th at 4:30 pm with some jets fans.
I promise not to cheat or seacretly videotape anything, and in return you need to promise me you wont tell me how nice and soft my feet are and ask if you can touch them.;)
I'll be at the Terra Linda from January 14th until january 19th.

Dave, I'm coming to Sosua today (Sat 1/15) from JFK with a bunch of guys, but I'm the only diehard Jet fan (I've been a season ticket holder since I was 12 years old, I kid you not!).

Looks like you guys settled on Cuba Libre, so hope to run into a few of you there. Think I will bring down my green Revis jersey for the occasion!

Btw, the game is scheduled for 4:30pm EST -- but I am pretty sure that the DR is on Atlantic Time, which is one hour later, so the game would start at 5:30 local Sosua time. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, we are on Atlantic time as the DR never changes for daylight savings.
Game time 5:30 Sosua for gringos, however Dominicans will be 30 - 45 minutes late for kick off:rofl:

Just seeing this thread now.

I watched the game at my place at the Palms. Opened the sliders and put the TV out on the veranda.
Filled the cooler and lit up the bbq.
Expected to watch the game with Tony Toca (whose been here for a month).
But had a pleasent surprise when he showed up with psriches, WSJ3, and Maximus.
Great to see old friends again. :bigthumbup: (and not a Pats fan amoung them!)

Just back from sosua after watching the game at Freds with Tiger,and wanted to say congratulations to all the jets fans,and wish them the best of luck angainst the steelers.
Fortunately for me , i missed alot of the second half because after the halftime show i hooked up with the girl by the pool in Sacase's trip report and had her that night and the next night and took out my frustrations on her.
I have to say though, i ran into quite a few Jets fans that night, and nobody really gave me too hard of a time even though i had my Ben Jarvis-Green-Ellis patriots shirt on. So, much respect to you guy's and good luck.!!
