Light rains and cool temperatures

The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) is forecasting light rains in the northeast, southeast and the Central Mountains caused by winds from the east to the northeast. Temperatures will remain below normal. Small craft warnings are in place along the Atlantic Coast. Sailors in the Bay of Samana are being advised to stay close to the shoreline. Light rains are expected throughout the day.
