This year the Juan Marichal Golf Classic, now in its 15th year, will raise funds for the Chilean Foundation, Un Techo para mi Pais, which builds homes for impoverished Dominicans. The event will be held again at the Los Marlins Golf Course at Metro Country Club in Juan Dolio, this time from Friday, 14 to Sunday, 16 January. Participating in the event is golf legend Greg Norman, designer of the nearby Costa Blanca golf course. The contribution is US$300 for members of Metro Country Club, US$350 for Fedogolf members and US$400 for non-members. Tel. 809 685-7949
