La Romana's Toros are definitely in for the playoffs of the Professional Winter Baseball Championship. The next three games will decide who their contender will be. The San Pedro de Macoris Estrellas defeated the Toros yesterday, keeping their hopes alive that the playoffs will be between the two neighboring teams, guaranteeing good attendance and an exciting end to the 2010-2011 Championship. The Estrellas just need one more win to make the playoffs.
Santo Domingo's Escogido and San Francisco's Gigantes could still make it, but the teams would have to win their next three matches.
