Lindt, the Swiss quality chocolate manufacturer, has joined the full and rich taste of Ron Barcelo Gran Anejo with fine dark Lindt chocolate to create the Ron Barcelo Pralines. Pralines are filled with rum and covered with chocolate. The blend was born from the creativity and passion of Lindt Maitre Chocolatiers. The new original line of chocolates is the result of a partnership between Illva Saronno, the century-old company experienced in the spirits industry, which is the exclusive distributor in Italy of Ron Barcelo and Lindt & Sprungli, the multinational company that specializes in the production and sale of confectionery and quality chocolate.
The chocolates were launched on the European market in November 2010. Vinicio Subero, commercial director of Barcelo Export Import (C. por A. - Beica), owner of the brand, said that Ron Barcelo Gran Anejo is a mix of superfine rums aged in American oak barrels.
