Shocked to hear major investigated Yeni

The people of Santiago were shocked to learn that one of the police officers dismissed earlier this week, a major named Jose Euri Ubri Diaz, had been tracking the movements of local district prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso in the criminal investigation system at Police headquarters. According to El Nuevo Diario, the major admitted that he had tracked the Santiago prosecutor on his own and for "shameful purposes". The National Police pointed out that the disgraced official has a close relationship with Francisco Alberto Carela Castro, who is in jail in Santiago de los Caballeros awaiting trial for the attempted murder of lawyer and Journalist Jordi Veras. The National Police told reporters that the discharged lieutenant had carried out a similar investigation in the police files on one Angel Cristo Nez, who was subsequently killed in circumstances that are still unclear. He was known to be a contract killer.
