1st time in santo domingo

tuesday sept 5th kevyboy,weyland,tg37 and i headed off to santo domingo in our rental. honda suv 3,000 pesos for two full nights all inclusive split 4 ways it was a cheap rental from the outlet right beside new garden.

we took the mountain road as it was only 10am and very little traffic

when we got to santiago to my surprise we hit a four lane highway

and we made good time getting to santo domino.
the city is bigger than i suspected it to be but kevy did a great job as navigator and got us down town to our hotel

where we checked into the hotel conde de penalba for 60usd plus 10 for chicas and 2 for lock
we then hooked up with cheeno who took us outto lunch.

and then came back for us for night site seeing tour of the stripclubs
we went to the girls house,lapsus as well as two others. all were nicer than franks place and had a large selection of quality girls as well as some ugly ones.
prices were from 2,500 right up to 6,000 tln. (thats right one club wanted 6,000 tln)
we ended up back at the first club that cheeno recommended and kevy and i took takeout from there. 2,500 tln

we left tg37 with his future exwife at the hotel around 1pm.
coming back we ran into a very severe rain storm. bad enough we pulled over at a road side bar and had presidentes and ice cream while we waited out the strom.
we took the long way home and toured thru pueto plata and stopped at field of dreams just before 5pm where weyland bought us a drink and showed us around.
kevy and i got back into sosua and had ribs at rockies.
i left rockies after dinner as i had arranged a meeting with chica

We went to Lapsus and Casa Modelos in between our first visit to the Girls House. There were not many chicas at Lapsus, so we left there. It was too early. Casa Modelo was crazy with rates of 3000 for ST and 6000 for TLN. So we left there too. Thanks to Cheeno for showing us around.

For an all-nighter (TLN) at The Girl's House, it costs 2,500. Do not pay anymore than 2,500. Go at around 11pm.

The owner is Freddy who is a Cuban guy and he speaks very good English. He will help you find the best girl.

I'm afraid this also applies to my cab driver Toni. Toni will not admit it to us. But he seems to be getting a cut as well.

So it is best to go by yourself.

From the airport to your hotel in Santo Domingo, he charges 900 pesos.

At some places. . . they don't raise your price and pay the taxi guy out of their cut. Girl House is like that I believe and remington also used to work like that.

I have a buddy that would take clients to remington palace or girls house. The client paid 2000 pesos at remington and the taxi guy got 700 pesos. He'd give 500 pesos back to the client so they both win. Client gets a chica at remington for 1500 pesos and he gets an extra 200 pesos, plus his normal rate etc. . . .

fausto@taxidominicano.com he has a mini van and has been known to take groups of gringos on "tours". . .. .speaks VERY little english though. 809 818 2000
