A few weeks ago I stayed frou nights at the Hotel Palacio in the Colonial District. Is is 1/2 block north of the El Conde walking mall on Duarte street. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet, but no lunch or dinner menu.

There are several restaurants within a two block walk including my favorite, The El Conde restaurant on Colon Plaza two blocks East of the hotel. Lot of good opportunity for chica watching.

I reserved theri top floor suite for $108 per night. It was a very nice room with king sized bed, TV, leather couch, refridgerator and PC including free internet access. The bathroom had a shower and jacuzzi tub and both worked very well. Off the main room is a patio with two lounge chairs and a small plastic table. A great place to relax with a beer.

I walked to the Jaragua one morning, but would not make the walk at night. The casino taxi charged me 200 pesos for a ride back, but I hooked up with Cheeno's driver for most of the week for 100 per ride.

I like the privacy and quiet of the small hotel so I would gladly stay at the Hotel Palacio again. And of course they are chica friendly with no guest fee. The do make a copy of the girl's ID when she enters for your protection.

The hotel has a parking garage for a few cars, but I did not use it. There is a large public jacuzzi o the roof of the second floor, (no not as big as BB). They are adding on and will soon have a roof top pool, and several more rooms.

Everything aid by novionomo is true. Hotel Palacio is an excellent hotel. I just wish it was closer to the Jaragua, my central stomping ground. I stayed in the top of the line suite and loved it. :iconTU:

The only thing I don't like about the Palacio is that the young women who work the front desk sometimes give you a filthy look when you bring a chica in.It's the old walk of shame thing.

They try to present an upscale image but get alot of monger traffic instead. When they look, i look right back and say, "hola". If you're gonna stare then you might as well speak BIATCH!!

That receptionist should mind her own fucking business. Unless she wants to join. :D

The Palacio has apartments that they rent by the week which are located down the street from the Hotel.Their web site has info on this.I stopped by one day to check it out but could'nt get in as there is no front desk.
The Apartments are down the hill closer to the Malecon. The price was'nt bad as I recall.

I had no trouble with the reeceptionists. They both had turned down my offer to help kick off my vacation with a bang. The security guard at the door when I returned late with a chica was cool. No problems getting chicas in, althouth I did not try to bring back more than one at a time.

I do not know about Hotel Palacio. But at the Hilton Hotel, you can bring only one girl (at a time) to your room.

So a threesome is out of the question.

But there is no guest-fee.

At the Napolitano Hotel, you can bring two girls to your room. But you need to pay for both of the girls. In other words, you have to pay a guest-fee two times.

I;m going to try to get her next time down. When I first get there, before I bring any chicas back to the room. I gonna see if I can get her as a tour guide of SD. If I get her, I will not bring any chica to my room (just a local cabana) :-))

I struck out with Gina, (and Flora), at the front desk. But there were other people near the lobby when I approached each of them, and I gave up quickly. To be honest, I was more interested in checking out the clubs and casino action.

I plan to return to the Palacio in December for a few nights. Maybe I'll have better luck this trip!
