The Chamber of Deputies has passed the bill that regulates voting by Dominicans abroad for legislators and in the presidential elections as of 2012. The bill establishes that Dominicans can vote in the 2012 presidential election and choose seven overseas legislators. There will be two deputies for Caribbean and Latin America, three for the United States and Canada, and two for Europe.
