Canada Chief of Defense visits

Chief of the Defense Staff of the Canadian Forces, General Walt Natynczyk is visiting the Dominican Republic on 14, 15 and 16 February. This is the first time that a chief of the defense staff from Canada has visited the DR. He is accompanied by his wife, Leslie Natynczyk and the military attache for the DR, Colonel Bruce McQuade. Natynczyk has been in the post since July 2008 and his visit is part of a tour of the United States, Haiti and Guatemala to strengthen ties and cooperation.
