Venezuelan murdered man was frequent traveler

The Migration Department has revealed that Venezuelan Rafael Mauricio Bardeja Vargas, who was shot dead last Thursday while sitting on the terrace of a restaurant on Avenida Sarasota, had traveled from Santo Domingo to South America, the Netherlands Antilles and Spain in 2010. On 7 January he traveled to Aruba, returning on 27 January. According to reports, he traveled to Bogota from Santo Domingo on 3 May returning on 2 June. He traveled to Madrid from Santo Domingo on 13 June and returned 24 June. He also traveled to Colombia on 26 August and returned on 26 October. He is suspected of having been murdered by contract. Six cell phones were found in his possession, five registered in his name. The Police are investigating the case.
