The King's Speech, the much-awaited multi-Oscar nominated film, opens at Blue Mall and Novocentro in Santo Domingo this week. It premieres at the Blue Mall cinema on 16 February. Starring Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush, the film opens at the Acropolis and Cinemacentro Cibao in Santiago as of 17 February. The film tells the story of King George VI of Britain, his unexpected ascension to the throne and the speech therapist who helped the nervous monarch overcome his stuttering handicap.
