Rob Square of the USA National Team is leading the 32nd Independence Cycling Tour, followed by Ilya Davidenok (Kazakhstan) and Dominican Augusto Sanchez. The cyclists headed eastwards yesterday to La Romana and Higuey.
14 teams from abroad compete with 10 local teams along the 1,128km route that takes them all around the country.
