Spirit Airlines has alot of good deals from major cities to SD.

LA, Chicago, NY, DC, vegas, alot of places from FL.
They have Cyber sales and other deals frequently, you have to check.
Chicago now with no deals is $360-400 $500 first class.
I know there are other cities having sales though...right now.

Just remember you get what you pay for. My last trip on Spirit was fucked up. I got stuck overnight in Ft. Lauderdale sleeping on a chair since it was only 5 hours late arriving at SDQ!
