My last planned trip during the super bowl was switched to CR.

But it appears Continental gained their senses back and have some cheap flights to POP in April.

I am booked for April 7-April 14

I emailed TL and NG and will see what the deal is.

I have been away a long time and from reading this board it seems Sosua has changed alot. I guess i will see for myself

Anyone going to be there?

What is so good about 65 a night?? I guess I can understand if u r not into walking or renting a moto, but for me, paying more than 55 is out the question!!!!

I don't get it either... that hotel is out of the questions for a longer stay.

I booked Piero and will be also in town on your dates (a few days), sporthobbyist. See you!

Can this be verified?

I sent TL an email mentioning a possible $65 cost and no answer yet

This is funny. I had my wingman contact TL and ask how much. Since they are not returning my emails anymore.
He submitted the online reservation form and was replied this:

It looks as though they have a few different pre-written response emails and the price you get quoted is based on who's working the desk at that particular moment and which pre-written response they've been trained to (or are used to) using to reply.

And then there's this little nugget (from their website):

Our guestroom rates are as follow:

King: $89US (1 adult).
King: $99US (2 adults).
1 Queen: $79US (1 adult).
1 Queen: $89US (2 adults).
2 Queen: $99US (2 adults).

According to their site - all of their rooms have either one King or two Queen beds, so they're charging $10 more per night if two people are staying in the same room but sleeping in different beds.

I stay in 20-30 different hotels every year for work & leisure travel and that's gotta be the first time in my entire life I've seen a hotel that charges based on bed usage.

but apparently, if you do all your fucking on the floor and sleep in the bathroom they only charge $47.19 per night (if you leave the television on and the door to the balcony open 15 degrees)...

no, i was just curious if their web rates were different from their various email rates.

i'll be over at rocky's condos up the block.

although Terra Lindas cash rate if you pay all in $5 bills while standing on one leg with your back to the northwest is rather intriguing.

true, but that rate only applies if you're in a chicken suit and driving a blue plymouth filled with dog biscuits on tuesdays that precede a full moon by less than 5 days.

so it's tough to get that rate.

Hey, if I can get a room for 65 with breakfast at the TL. I will pay on one leg and leave the balcony door open 15 degrees!

Wilfred emailed me and told me to talk to Willy and mention the 65 rate.

lets see if they get back to me???

I like TL, last time I went they charged me $65 /night.
I also emailed them for my next trip in May, they told me $74.

They gotta lower their rates if they wanna compete with NG.

I booked NG for $55/night.
