Mexican Ximena Navarrete is visiting the DR to attend the Miss Dominican Republic pageant on Tuesday, 8 March. The event takes place at the Teatro La Fiesta of the Hotel Jaragua. The winners of the event will represent the DR in the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants, among others. Miss Universe will be in the DR from Monday, 7 March to Friday, 11 March. On her agenda is a visit to the pediatric oncology ward at the Plaza de la Salud medical center. She will also be visiting youth programs in Haina. The 22-year old arrived after a tour to New Delhi and Beijing in the Far East.
