To the campaign call of "Mom's Here!" President Leonel Fernandez and First Lady Margarita Cedeno inaugurated two educational centers in Boca Chica, built at a cost of RD$44 million. One is a Community Technology Center with multi-use hall, library, Internet hall, language classrooms and computer repair room, among other facilities. Another is a Center for Training and Production, with a daycare center on the first floor. The educational centers cover an area of 1,056m2. The government of Taiwan contributed RD$35,698,328 to the construction.
