After the PRD Convention National Organizing Commission said that they were only accountable to the National Executive Committee, the party leadership invited them to a meeting today with the delegates of the nomination hopefuls and the computer officials in order to clear up everything related to the process. The meeting was called by the PRD's interim president and secretary general, Andres Bautista and Orlando Jorge Mera, and will take place at 10am.

Diario Libre reports that the party's top-ranking executives say that they have the right to receive information and the voting rolls of the convention. The people asked to attend the meeting were Enmanuel Esquea, Milagros Ortiz Bosch, Hugo Tolentino Dipp, Cesar Sanchez, Ivelisse Prats de Perez, Jean Luis Rodriguez, Hector Cruz and Teofilo Tabar.

"Nobody, absolutely nobody is above the PRD, the party is an institution and therefore it has heads, agencies to which we are obligated and we are subject", stressed Bautista. He said that they are complying with Resolution #1 of last 8 March, approved by the Political Commission that orders the revision of the voter rolls in order to establish whether 200,000 members of the PLD rank and file voted in the PRD's internal nomination process.
