Where is the place to be for semana santa in santiago?? was thinking about heading out to cabarette but dont know about whats happening here

Semana Santa is all about Water and sun, so natives usually do one of two things: the beach(like willie mentioned), or the rivers.

Santiago folks love the beach, so the more affluent tend to head to Cabarete, while the less affluent hit the beaches in Sosua and Puerto Plata.
