Measles and rubella campaign

The Public Health department is beginning a national campaign today to vaccinate people between the ages of 7 and 39 against measles and rubella. The campaign will run through 2 December and looks to decrease the amount of cases for the next 10 years. Because of the scale of the campaign, President Leonel Fernandez passed decree 420-06 where he declares National Vaccination Day a national priority, of public interest and obligatory in character.
