Guarocuya Felix, Head of the Office for National Planning, has announced that the bulk of the 2007 national budget will be focused on the payment of the public debt, transfers to the energy sector, and government subsidies. Felix also added that the government would prioritize spending on education, health, employment, DR-CAFTA, institutional reforms and on meeting the UN's millennium goals.
