I plan to visit the DR in January 07. Never been. Can anyone tell me what’s the best city to travel to and were I can find a cheap hotel with air conditioning that allows “guests” in the room.

bar of choice=lous shark bar
massage parlor of choice=La passions
airport of choice to fly into=pop or sti

There are no cheap flights, just low season.

why do you mention the word cheap so often...are you coming to enjoy yourself or are you coming to save money?
this is a third world country which already means that it is low budget...so forget about saving money , come down and have a blast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just trying to make sure I get the absolute best deal possible. I had read on another message board about 2 people on the same flight, both flying coach with 100s in the difference on the plan ticket. I will probably wait until “low season” to visit the D.R.
