back home and just in the recuperation mode,,, i was looking forward to my trip for months and now here i am sitting in my office,, the trip is over and all i have left of it is a few pesos and some nice memories,,,
time has a strange way of moving on,,,
one of my favorite momoents of any trip is the walk down the corridor of the puerto plata airport.. the glass wall seperating those arriving and those leaving,, as i walked the line on my arrival i always look to the other side at those leaving thinking that i am glad i am not them,,, yet what literally seemed like 10 minites later there i was ... walking on the other side .. my trip finished,,,
it was a great trip and i shall now attempt to summarize those moments that seem to stand out to me,,

1. firstly , i stayed at the new garden hotel ,, centrally located just up from rockies,, its a fine hotel,, clean ,, decent breakfast food,, chica friendly,, hot water no problem,, free porn ,,,2 beds in my room,,, maid service every day,, lorenzo the owner ,, nice guy ,, easy to talk to ,, the security guard is a nice guy ,, bought him some rum for 100 pesos a few nights in a row until he refused it saying he had drank too much the day before,,, also once in a while he would ask for 100 pesos for whatever and i gave it to him,, they have a garage there for a motoconch (which i rented),, nice pool,, better than europa simply because you are not attacked as soon as you walk out the door by the little kids asking for $$ or the motoconch guys asking you if you need a ride,,, nice spot ,, i will stay there again,,

2. met up with the guys at rockies on the 29th for the dinner arranged by beads,, great time,, met with beads and all his friends,, plus the game,, eriks.. jd mine,, the ribs were great ,,, and they were worth the wait,, meaning we sat there waiting for them ,,, and waiting for them ,,, and
waiting for them ,, yet they finally came and were delicious,,,

3. chica prices were reasonable,, never had to pay more than 1500 pesos for a good time,, many were of course asking for more,, yet with some negotiation they went down ,, or i simply walked away and found those in my price range.. i paid anywhere from zero to the 1500 mark.. most were 1000 pesos short time,, a few overniters for 1500 but i'm not big on the overniters and limited thoise to just two,, one chica in classicos ,, melanie,, whom beads was drooling over ,, she was there every nite but never left with anyone,, we were curious what she was asking ,, so i approached her ,, felt her up a bit and asked her prices ,,, she said 3000 for 2 hours ,, i said how about tln?,, she said she doesn't do tln,,, i said yea but how much would it take?,, she said 10,000 for the nite!,, i said how about 6000 and she said yes,, needless to say i walked away,, she is hot ,,, but come on,,,, on my last nite there i saw her leave with someone at closing time,,,so the chicas in classicos are asking for alot but can be talked down,, someone must be paying these prices,, and good luck to them ,,, but it certainly isn't me,,,
the way i got a few freebies was thanks to some one who was paying his chica mucho,,this was a chica ai banged a few times last trip,, when i got there this time she was on lockdown with some european guy,, he was paying her 5000 pesos each day,, buying her food,, drink,,clothes and jewelry,, when she could she would sneak out on him and come see me,, she never asked for any money ,, so i must thank that european dude,, one classic moment was when she was in my room,,, he called,, she put him on speaker phone and in between her sentences to him ,, she was blowing me.. gotta love these sosua chicas,,

4.classicos at closing time was off the hook,,, has anybody seen that green van from the music station?,,, the van is basically a big speaker,,, they park it in front of classicos about 15 mins before closing time and crank it up,,, there were 100s of people in the street and people on the van and cars dancing,,, it was quite a site,, one i'll never forget,, afew nites during the week classicos was empty except for all the chicas,,, one nite there was probably a 25 to 1 ratio of chicas to guys,, hadn't seen that before,, most nites it was packed ,, every nite at closing time the policia would park the paddy wagons in front and several times would take some chicas away,, as soon as the wagon was full off they would go ,,, one nite they had 5 paddy wagons there and were actually patting down most everybody,, including myself,, possibly looking for weapons,, quite a scene indeed,,

5. passions was its usual great place,, peter of course the supurb host as always and the chicas were bonita!,, especially my favorites belky and angela,, both providing a great time.. went there pretty much every day to either just drink or partake in my favorite chicas,,, great place to just hang ,,
and of course its probably one of the best deals going,,, only 900 pesos for a guaranteed good time with a smokin chica,, i love passions,,

6. during my stay i rented a motoconch for the entire stay ,,, best thing i did,, only 700 pesos each day ,,, rented it at the spot next to europa,, never had to use the services of a motoguy,, parked it in the garage at new garden every nite,,, without one you're definately limited,, this way i was able to explore more of the terrain,,, each morning woke up ,,, got on the moto and off i went ,,, cruising the streets for hours each day,,, see a chica?,,, turn around and stop to say hi,, explore streets i'd never been down before.. off to cabarete,, puerto plata.. where ever,, no limitations,,, a great time indeed,,,there were a few days where there was no gas at the texaco,,, simply had to go the the coastal ,,, one day no gas there either ,, went into cabarete no problemo there was gas,,,,,the gas problem only existed for a few days,,, the motos take about 150 pesos of gas and that'll last all day of driving,,, i recommend this to others..

7. castleburger,,,, nice spot,,, met the owners,, they are selling the franchises,, you can probably buy one for $30,000,, they are opening 6 around the island,,, he told me initially they were doing 25000 pesos a nite ,,, now with the new hours they are down to 9000 each nite,,, good fries,,, smallest burgers i ever ate,, again decent spot,,, nothin to get excited about,,, good location though,,

8. all week there was a carnival just up from bologna in the open field,,, it was a great time each nite,,, mucho chicas,,, they had bands some nites and a comedian the other nites,, dance contests,,, and lots of drinking,,, they would block off the street to traffic there was so many people there some
nites,, they had a few rides and one in particular was the ferris wheel,,, fastest ferris wheel i ever saw ,,, was hesitant to go on it but was prompted by many chicas so i rode it a couple of times,,, i'm sure i was taking my life into my hands,, but if it was my time,, so be it,,, glad to say i am still alive and it was quite the experience,, a few nites i went with beads and this wildman would purchase 25 tickets and hand them out to the kids,,, ever see someone feeding pigeons when the pigeons know they have food?? beads had a swarm of 20-25 little kids ages 5-12 following him around with their hands out looking for a ticket,,, again quite a scene,,, it almost got out of hand a few times,,, but these little kids are great and deserve all the help and freebies they can get,,

9. shakedown on main street,,, i was riding my moto up past pjs going to the main street,,when i turned left onto the street i see that there are many policia in the street pointing here and there,,, soon they are pointing at me asking me to pull it over,,, i switch into my act stupid tourist mode and thy are telling me that i must be wearing a helmet,,, wheres my helmet?,, i tell them i rented the moto from the spot near europa nd they did not say anything about this or did they give me a helmet,,, he tells me i have to leave my moto here and go get a helmet ,,, i ask him how am i supposed to ge get a helmet if i leave my bike here he tells me to rent a cab,,, just then standing next to me is a guy with a helmet!,, i ask him how much ,,, he tells me 400 pesos,,, i give him the 400 pesos he gives me the helmet and the policia let me go,,, ,, i turn the corner take the helmet off put it in the seat compartment and never wore it again the entire trip,,, only saw them stopping gringos,,, truly a shakedown on main street,,,,

10. mymoo,,,, the spelling i am sure is not correct ,,, but thats how you would pronounce it,,,it was awesome,,, drove the moto with some local buddies on their motos to puero plata,, then about 15 mins past puerto plata,, past ocean world there is a huge restarant/ food stand that just sells fish,, seats a couple of hundred and mucha mucha chicas there from all over,,, you park and get in line,, they have buckets and buckets of different kinds of fish,,, pick the fish you want.. they weigh it and give you a ticket,,, go sit down at a table and 10 minutes later here is your fish cooked to perfection,,,me and my buddy each had a foot long fish,, grande cervesa and banana?,, the round flat fried food,, anyway everything came to 450 pesos,,, it was delicious and the chicas there were smokin,, on the way back stopped at ocean world and saw the sun village resort,, very beautiful,, all inclusive .. $120/nite,,, great place to bring a solo chica for the time of her life,, also saw the new puerto plata beach ,,, stopped at the carwash for a few ,,, and drove back to sosua,,, a great part of a great day,,,

11. non puta?,,, is there such a thing down there?,,, was driving the moto ,,, went by a smokin hot flaca just sittin there with her shades and little outfit on ,,, turned around stopped to talk to her ,,, asked her a few questions and wanted to know if she wanted to go to my hotel right now,,, she looks at me like i'm crazy and says she is not a puta,,, i say no problem it is not necessary ,,,anyway we exchange numbers and i don't think anything of it and move on,,, a few hours later she starts lighting up my phone,,, i arrange to meet her later for a few drinks,, we meet and she says she has to go because she has a bambino at home,,, no problemo,,, i bring her to her house in charamico,, meet her mother and off i go ,,,but before then i arrange to meet her at 7am at my hotel,,,, next morning 7am ,,, a knock on my door ,,, i let her in ... bang her for an hour and she has to go to work,,, but before she leaves she says ,,, my bambino is sick and needs food etc,,, can you give me 2500 pesos?,,, i say i thought you were a non puta??, she doesn't say much ... i give her 1000 pesos and off she goes,, later in the day she calls me and says she is hungry and wants a club sandwhich from pjs..if she wasn't so hot i would have hung up,,, got her a sandwhich for 200 pesos,, but before she could have it ,,, necessito freaky freaky,,,,she says no problemo,,, off we go ,, i'm happy ,, shes happy,,, just another "non puta" in sosua,,

i could go on and on and on with experiences during this 10 day trip,,, each day was a "trip" in itself,,, developed many new local friendships,, as well as those from ny,, nj,, germany,, holland,, france,, etc,,,walked the beach each day,,, went swimming in the awesome water,,, hung at siempre sol ,, woke up no later than 9 each day and lived like a king,, i'm back december 14-24,,, can't wait,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Enjoyed reading the report even though it does not have pictures. Nice job with providing some new information. Traveling around DR exploring is great. Never used a moto, but always rented a car

Dude, you were eating fish in Maimon! Cool. You drove right in front of my villa.... well, ex villa anyways, I sold it a couple months back.
Did you ride the bikes down the beach road behind the fish stands?

Sousaman, very cool report. Renting the bike must have really added to the adventure. Bangin a chica for a sandwich brings a new meaning to, "will work for food".

I know the feeling. Upon arriving I start to feel the adrenaline begin to flow.............but always feel like "Dead Man Walking" upon departure.

It's that monger space time continuum bro--its the internal feeling of dread that you feel when you are leaving a place that you dont want to leave but have to. Dominicana chocha can give you that out of body effect.
