I am here now. The new laws took effect today. All bars closed including the one at the Casino are closed. The Discos did not even open. The streets are deserted. This looks like a ghost town.
Many chicas did not even know it was happening, at midnight as girls started coming from their barrios they found everything closed.
There was a mini riot in front of Club X and Club 59
Also all ATM s were shut off at midnight, not sure if that was a fluke or what. We decided to go to Casino and hit every ATM in Sosua, all were disabled. Not one had a watchman present as they usually do
