Metro Bus Schedule

Guys planning on hitting BB for 3-4 nights then moving on to Santo Domingo for a few afterwards.I was wondering how long will it take by bus and if its a direct run or with stops in between?

On Metro from Puerto Plata to Santo Domingo there is only one stop. It is is Santiago. The trip will take 4 to 5 and a half hours depending on traffic and time of day.
