New York Yankees today reports they are looking into the stem cell medical procedures that have returned pitcher Bartolo Colon to top physical condition.
Dr. Leonel Liriano, the Santiago-based physician who carried out the procedure, told the Star Ledger of New Jersey that an investigator from MLB recently took him up on his offer to watch video of the procedures done on Colon's right elbow and shoulder. That video, Liriano told the Star-Ledger, shows doctors did not use human growth hormone during the treatments.
