The annual Caribbean Tourism Bourse (BTC) will be held at the Dominican Fiesta from 16 to 18 June. This year the exhibition will focus on vacation property exhibitions and marinas. Exhibition director Luis Felipe Aquino says there will also be activities focusing on cruise ship tourism, business tourism, meetings, golf, adventure tourism and cultural tourism as part of the trade show at the convention center. Mayaguez mayor Jose Guillermo Rodriguez will speak at the event. The Puerto Rican city of Mayaguez is linked to the Dominican Republic by the ferry.
