Contemporary dance at Bellas Artes

The Dominican National Ballet's Contemporary Dance Program presents Sed (Thirst) at the Palacio de Bellas Artes from 3 to 5 June. Cuban Marianela Boan, now a resident of the Dominican Republic after a number of years living in Philadelphia, leads the new program and is responsible for the choreography of the performance. Music is by Jorge Read and Edgar Molina. The dancers are Dayme del Toro, Tatiana Mejia, Evelyn Tejeda, Anny Cruz, Mildred Rubirosa, Rafael Morla, Daniel Mejia, Yojanel Bruno and Anubis Arias. Tickets: RD$200 and RD$100 students.
