Diario Libre commentator Homero Figueroa calls out for responsible government in his brief today.
"For the government's base pleasures, the private sector pays with the blow. The public spending binge always leads to a tax hangover. The government always promises this will be the last time, but as soon as it can replace the revenues, it returns to its excesses. The licentious life of the government is becoming too expensive for the citizens. The zigzagging walk of the drunk that the Executive carries, results in our economy moving one step ahead and two backwards. The national productive sectors have in the authorities the worst of the enemies. Progress is impossible for a country that depends on borrowing and increasing taxes every two years. We need responsible government."
