Home delivery for birth certificates

The Central Electoral Board (JCE) has announced that it has reached an agreement with CardNet and Grupo Domex to facilitate online ordering of birth certificates. As of July, citizens will be able to request their birth certificates and other civil documents online and receive them at their home or work addresses. Domex, which already delivers US passports issued by the US Embassy, will be responsible for delivering the documents. Payment will be made by credit card, via CardNet, the largest credit card processing company. JCE president Roberto Rosario said this was aimed at reducing the number of people visiting the JCE centers nationwide.
