Lawyer Jottin Cury died of a heart attack on Friday. He was 90 years old. He served as Minister of Foreign Relations during the short-lived government of Colonel Francisco Alberto Caamano Deno) from 1965-1966, and as the deputy for the National District (elected in 1966). He also served as rector of the UASD in 1974, elected by the students. He was a veteran professor of law and legal advisor to President Joaquin Balaguer. He was buried with state honors. He is survived by his wife, Ana Yee, and his sons Alejandra, Oscar, Jottin and Julio.
