Welcome to the board. Where are you from? Would like to tell us something about your visits to the DR? Do you plan another trip soon?

Although I have a French surname (my grandfather came from Jersey - the real Jersey, not what these dumb Americanos call Jersey) I am sorry to say my French is almost non-existent. I learned it at school but did not practice it again for fifty years, until I visited the DR and found it useful for communicating with les haïtiennes.
