I am sure I will catch some flack for this so I'll go ahead and apologize for it ahead of time. I have done lots of searching and looking around/reading. I am having trouble finding out where The Tradewinds are located at in sosua. If anyone could clear that up for me I would greatly appreciate it. I am planning on staying there for my trip in August, although I would like to know where exactly it is before I go booking and making any certain plans. Thanks again.

Tradewinds is on the highway east of the Esso station...about a 10 minute walk on the highway from the gas station. The Palms is across the street from it. I stay there most trips. Make sure you get moto phone numbers as the highway is a bit dark at night and it can be a bitch in the rain.

Never apologize. Fuck'em

Head out of Sosua towards Cab. Just on the edge of town (1.5 mile?) there'll be a large sign on the right "Tradewinds". Road goes up the hill, and there's about 4 or 5 or 6 condo places. Tradewinds is the first on the right going up the hill (unless there is something new being built on the right??) .

The road loops around and comes back down to the highway, you can find it on google maps fairly easy.

also, instead of walking the majority of the way on the highway, you can walk down PC and turn right at the street by passions, and it takes you right up almost at the driveway.

it's not a bad walk. i walked it many a time when i stayed there. but a moto is much mroe convenient when you have a chica, or you're wasted, or you have a hangover, or you gotta shit... hmmm i guess maybe i didnt walk it that much afterall. lol.

when trey and i stayed there, we typically walked into town every morning to get our blood flowin. only takes 10 minutes or so to get to rockys . if you're planning on staying at rick's places, they are all great rooms. and the pool is wonderful.

we would get back after spending all day at the beach, and we'd relax in the pool for another hour before getting ready for dinner. very relaxing pool.

there are vacationers there, and also folks who live there. so its mixed company in the pool. but everyone was always very friendly.

You's guys give directions like dominicans. If jonsey goes to Tradewinds and heads across the street he'll get lost in the woods.

Do they still have all the junked cars in the field across the street? More like 200 feet up the road across the street.

Somebody cleaned out the good stuff awhile ago. The vettes are gone. I think there still might be an old slant back caddy.

i was always thinking about bring them hoem for a resto job but i guess someone beat me to it, likely a good thing in this recession anyway as i would never have gotten my moneyback. always better to buy an already complete resto when the owner is a little desperate to blow it out:wink:
