Found that on sosuanews.com. That bar is one of my favorite spot in Sosua.

Dicke Herman's bar beautifully renovated

The bar owned by Dicke (fat) Herman - yes that's what he calls himself, and that's how he's known to everyone in Sosúa - is one of the oldest bars in this coastal town. Certainly 15 years ago you could stand on the corner opposite Harrison's Jewelry store in the Pedro Clisante, and visit Dicke Herman's bar for an ice-cold beer and a dance with the barmaid.
The drinking hours, i.e. the hours from 5pm onwards, were legendary. Once you'd left the beach for the day it was standard routine to stop by the bar for a drink with friends.
Herman, the owner of the bar, usually sat on one of the bar stools with a fat cigar in his mouth, just watching the fun. Very little has changed since then. The bar is still a meeting point, particularly for German visitors to Sosúa.

Dicke Herman, the Boss himself

Thomas (40) has been managing the bar for the past year, and has increased its popularity. Thomas is Dicke Herman's right-hand man, and used to manage the Tuf Tuf bar. But Herman sold that establishment, and so the popular Thomas now works at the bar on the corner. Thanks to Thomas's popularity, the bar is even busier than usual. So, Herman decided to undertake some drastic renovations. The bar is now twice the size, and everything has been renovated in the best types of wood. It's really beautiful now, but the old familiar friendly atmosphere has stayed the same. We can only say:
'we'll see you at Dicke Herman's bar' - this is a tradition in Sosúa.

I would pass it everynight walking back to the New Garden with another beautiful chica from either Classicos or Latina Joes next door.

Thanks ILN.

I usually can find at least one of my CSIOC friends there every time I walk by.

I think the more open layout is great. Seems to be more non-german gringos hanging out there this year than last year, I even stopped in last night with Ted.

Wonderful place to drink a beer or a coffee and have a cigar. I buy cigars here too. Us fat Germans have to stick together!
