Ok first time poster long time lurker. In SD right now and I must say the rain is a torment. Im at the Jaguar and so far I dont know how this trip is going to shape up. I am a long time sosua affectionado due to the point and click nature of the action out there. Entiendo espanol pero hablo un poco. I guess my spanish is functional to the point that I can survive with some hand jestures and generally get my point across. I decided to take the plunge and try sd for a change. Its my second night and so far the action isnt what I expected. I hit a few of the casa de putas like lapsus, girlhouse, and skyhigh and while the quality is there, im not into the high pressure hard sell. I like things to be more subtle with me operating at my own pace. I prefer to be unobtrusive and scope the talent at my own pace then pick one off of the heard when im good and ready. I walked into lapsus seemingly unnoticed, so far so good, and made a bee line to the bar. I order my beverage and turn around once im served and WOW!! At least 20 girls managed to make a stealthily advance on my 6 and encircle me like a disciplined legion of amazonian warrior princesses. I didn't quite know what to think and then the sales pitch begins. 3500 pesos was the number. A number I was not interested in as during past sosua adventures I have sampled the fruits of a goddess who seemingly dropped from the pages of a magazine for a mere 2500 pesos. A pittance compared to the $500 she could easily command in NY for 45 min. The ranks of this chica regiment remained firm and true as I consumed my frosty cervesca. The chicas were all vying for the attention of mi cartera and for some reason even though my eyes liked what they saw, I could not feel at ease enough to want to mount any of the stallions before me. I finished my brewski and took off. I had the same feelings and similar experience at the other casas. El Conde was a wash literally as it rained rained and kept raining. I only managed to score a very average looking puta at the jaragua which quoted me at 3000 pesos for an hour which I immediately countered by an offer for 900 pesos. After some tense negotiations which involved me placing her hand on my wang we agreed to 1200. We went back to the hotel did the deed which included a shower together, bbbj, mish, doggy and one leche and then comes the plea for propina. Standard script of baby needs milk, diapers, medicine, and she even threw in how she had to payoff the security when she left because he let her in without her cedula which she supposedly "forgot" at home. How does a working girl forget something so essential to her craft. Thats like a police officer going out on patrol and saying oh I forgot my gun and badge at home. I gave her an extra 70 pesos just to get her out of my hair because i was tired. Of course she wanted more but at that point I was getting annoyed and I told her to come back later and work for anymore money that she might need. All in all I hope my fortunes improve because I really wanted to love sd as much as sosua.:(

P.S. Jaguar offers excellent in room wifi, a secure environment with clean rooms, and US cable tv with every channel including movie channels and lots of hardcore porn channels which leads me to believe its a pirate setup. Modest yet acceptable, would recommend and would rebook at 50 per nt

DonStyleNy thanks for the report. Come to think of it you got a casino chica for under 1500rd, thats a real good deal

Hopefully some of this advice helps

Take some lunch or mid afternoon breaks at GBP, Pink Pony, and Playboy palace. They are all 1000rd st casas and they dont mob you like the other casas. They will let you drink and sample the goods with lapdances until you are ready to make a decision

I cant help with the casa scene along ave indepencia. Thats just how they operate. The prices are the prices and the chicas want to sell toto. I recommend looking for the qualities you like in a chica, find out when her off days are, find out if she lives at the casa, and gauge her interest in meeting you outside of the casa. If you like her, take her out as a show of good faith and a taste test. If you like what went down then try to set up a deal with her.

there are streetwalkers on calle danae, ave indepencia, calle conde, and on ave george washington. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. There should be freelance chicas in copa (hotel meila next to jaragua) and myntz at hotel napolitano.

Worse comes to worse have a presidente and have fun at every bar along calle conde.

Enjoy and let us know how it goes..... oh and take a look at the mongering map....

I hope that helps.

Great info from BigLongBeach..

The only thing I would add..is that La Coppa and Myntz don't get busy until late. (2am)
Some of the Casa chicas go there after they get off work.

With luck and game..you can pull something there cheaper than the casa.

To get good quality at Sosua prices requires contacts, or good spanish, or both.

Sounds like Santo Dominigo is the next level of mongering.

Welcome, I'm just the opposite, I can say basically whatever I want, but I have problem understanding. BLB and MRblacklove gave great advice. You may also want to check out ave, Sarasota in Bella Vista, they have street walkers there also. The conde is also a gold mine, try saying hola to some of the chicas walking down the Conde, and some will stop and converse with you. You might end up with one.

You must be staying in the Garden section of the Jaguar, because they dont allow guests in the High rise.

I've seen them there. I always wondered why there are streetwalkers there? It's at the beginning of a residential area, and not a ghetto. I can only remember one hotel near by, and a mcdonalds. I guess This is a spot where weathly and middle class dominicans go to pick up streetwalkers.

The only Hotel there is the BQ Hotel, I used to sit at there bar outside and watch the street walkers. One day I was hanging at the bar, waiting for Viv so we could eat dinner there. I saw a chica so fine, that I had to keep my eye on her. She was with a Dominican and when he ordered Hennesy my eyebrows raised.
Viv arrives and we got to a table to have dinner, and I see the fine chica leave with a gringo. The Dominican was a chulo and he had one of the finest chicas I ever saw. I think the Hotel is a big spot for P4P activity.

I have heard conflicting stories concerning bringing Chicas into the Jaguar, is it possible, is it a problem. A friend suggested I stay at the Riazzor which is right behind the Jaguar, because the Jaguar would not allow Chicas unless you bribed the security guard, any feedback would be appreciated.

I believe the exact policy would be no hookers allowed. But there are exceptions and ways to get around. I would say its all in the appearance. If she looks like a hooker, if she is a known hooker, if you look like a hooker and john you will probably get stopped by security and asked to pay or not allowed in.

If you 2 look like a normal couple then i think you should be fine. But why risk it? if you want to stay at the biggest/baller hotels in santo domingo then you have to put up with that. If you dont there are many options just outside of the Jaguar. Look at some of the trip reports. there are places on ave independencia, calle danae, and calle conde.

good luck and enjoy sto do

I believe there is a bit of a misunderstanding, the hotel im staying at is the Jaguar which is about a block north of Independcia not the Jaragua hotel and casino which does have a no chica policy. The Jaguar is a small aparta hotel with an owner that speaks perfect English as i believe he spent time in Washington Heights. The rooms are modest and clean with strong AC for $50 us per night. If you need a good wifi signal and all the satellite porn you can handle this is the place to be.

The owner at the Jaguar has a pretty good deal. He is in the technology industry and does consulting all over the place. I am not talking about tech support. He does legit DBA work so he can pull in a pretty penny doing that remotely while kicking back in D.R.

From your short paragraph, I get the feeling you will be alright. Although Sosua is point m click it does require some social skills to have a good time. You sound like you've had a good time there.

The advice that BLB gave you is on point and the map is great, I've used it myself just to get a bearing of where I was. It helped a lot. Hopefully the weather clears up because El Conde is Poppin. There should be a few isoc out there right now.
