very interesting reading. transportation was a major field of study for me in college but no one even suggested doing away with signage.

There is a hugh intersection a few hundred feet from where I live.
When the streetlights work, it's total chaos, and there's always a ton of cars backed up for each light.
When the lights don't work(about 70% of the time) traffic flows through like nobodys business. I've never seen an accident there in 4 years...
