There is a terrific French hotel and restaurant on the beach. Cant remember the name, but if you Google, you can find it. Maybe $75 a night.

It was very close to town. Yes, chica friendly. My DR--AR gfe was with me 4 years ago.

Great place to stay, center of town, big pool, cheap and guest friendly.

There is even a pimp-mami who hangs out within 20 yards of the street entrance!!!!:lol:

50 yards more or less but thats the beach in center of town. The whole beach strip in LT is a good few miles long but not very wide in either direction.

Plenty of small bars here and there but from the center you need to go a few hundred yards heading towards El Portillo to go to Playa Popi (I think that's what it's called) for the best day time action.

Everyone buzzes around on quad bikes which are cheap to rent.
