Labor Minister Jose Ramon Fadul is quoted in Hoy as saying that President Leonel Fernandez is considering an increase in public workers' salaries, if the economic situation is considered to be right. Fadul says that if by 29 November the private sector has not presented an offer for salary increases for non-sectorized workers, the National Salary Committee will begin the conversation.
