Fernandez meets with investors

President Leonel Fernandez met with a group of Spanish investors who are interested in completing a marina project in Samana with an investment of US$150 million. Fernandez was informed of the remodeling of two government hotels now under Bahia Principe management. Bahia Principe is booking stays at four new hotels in Samana this winter season. Public Works Secretary Freddy Perez is quoted in Diario Libre as saying that Spanish investors are interested in continued investments in the country, which he believes is good news for the Dominican public.
