The French government has given the RD$30 million for projects aimed at strengthening municipalities, hospitals, community service, and support for women's development programs in Elias Pina province. Cecile Pozzo di Borgo, the French Ambassador to the DR, made the announcement. The aid will be distributed through the French Development Agency's Cooperation Service. The French government disburses its aid to Latin American countries through this organization.
