The National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) announced it has seized 25 packages of cocaine containing 34 kilograms found inside a freight container on board the Humboldt Express that arrived at the Multimodal Caucedo Port from Los Angeles, California. It was due to be transported by the Conti Salome to the Belgian port of Antwerp as its final destination. The multimodal is a leading transshipment port.
DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebron said the cocaine was sniffed out by a drug dog called Rex.
