Victor Mitrov and the Caribbean Big Band Concert are booked for the National Theater on Wednesday 24 August at 8:30pm. The show is a benefit for the Dr. Juan M. Taveras Foundation. The Bulgarian musician who for several years has been the lead trumpet of the National Symphony Orchestra and the Santo Domingo Music Festival Orchestra under the artistic direction of Maestro Philippe Entremont, has put together an evening featuring top hits by outstanding performers, ranging from Frank Sinatra, Elton John, Sting and others, through merengue, son and bachata. The evening is named "Hits".
