Nuria Piera reports that she has received threats from the leading PLD party member and government official Euclides Gutierrez Felix, which also involve third parties. The investigative journalist complained that Gutierrez Felix threatened to sue the companies that have advertising contracts with her program, "Nuria", if they do not stop supporting her.
This conflict arose when Nuria revealed that Gutierrez had accumulated millions in arrears with the EdeSur Electricity Distributor. Her investigations have also led to other questions about the official.
