The Center for Diagnosis, Advanced Medicine and Telemedicine (Cedimat) at Plaza de la Salud Public Hospital in Santo Domingo has announced the opening of its new Hemato-Oncology Clinic, for the comprehensive treatment of cancers and hematological diseases. The center offers the latest technology for diagnostics and a clinical research facility.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Archbishop of Santo Domingo, Cardinal Nicolas de Jesus Lopez Rodriguez, First Lady Margarita Cedeno, Miguel Villalona Calero, director of the Division of Oncology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, and unit director Ligia Cardona.
