The Fundacion Sur Adelante (Fusura) and the Instituto Nacional de la Uva (INUVA), the national grape institute are celebrating the III Grape Fair for Neiba on 26, 27 and 28 August. Neiba is the leading grape cultivation region in the Dominican Republic. The grapes grown there are eaten raw, but have also been made into acceptable wines for sale on the local market.
